Only 1.40 hrs from Melbourne,  close to the 'Prom' & Inverloch beaches, the charming, pet- friendly cottage is nestled among the lush foliage of Gippsland Food Forest's organic avocado, fruit & nut farm, offering a tranquil & truly unique experience.

Secluded, and accessed by its own private driveway with direct undercover access, the cottage is lovingly furnished with antiques and period fittings, fine linen, fresh flowers, and with a lovely north facing deck overlooking the rose arbour.

The Space - The cosy cottage has two bedrooms - one with a double bed, the second with a double and single bunk above - sleeping 5. The open plan living area has a fully equipped kitchen with large pantry, full-sized fridge, oven & microwave. The bathroom has a large shower and laundry facilities. There is a carport at rear which leads directly into the cottage through the rear door. The carport is securely fenced so pets can be contained.

A slow combustion fire and reverse cycle air conditioning make the cottage cosy & warm in winter, cool in summer, while fly screens fitted to all external doors and windows, ensure year-round comfort.

Testimonials

What an amazingly beautiful space to stay. I stayed here with 3 friends and a baby and we were all fully catered for. Diana actually exceeded our expectations with the beauty, comfort & warmth of her cottage. Not to mention the tasty cheese platter and yummy chocolates. We can't thank you enough Di for your welcoming hospitality & love your property. We will all be back!! Thank you - Carli (airbnb)

My husband, five year old son, and I stayed at Walnut cottage for a birthday getaway. It was absolutely wonderful and Di has made the cottage so comfortable and inviting. The fire had been lit for our arrival and a lovely cheese and dip platter was awaiting us in the fridge. We had a lot of fun exploring the property with our dog and guessing what was growing on each of the fruit trees. My son especially loved feeding the geese! We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to a friend! Thanks Di for a lovely experience. - Carolyn (airbnb)
